Jessica & Shane

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of attending and documenting one of the most most beautiful weddings I've ever been to.  Jessica and Shane were married in Big Canoe, GA.  The drive from Florida into the mountains of North Georgia made for a very exciting and interesting (as we were lost for hours at one point) weekend.  By we, I mean, she & me.  Who is she??  You know, the fabulous Julie of Julie Cate Photography, one of the bestest friends a girl could ever ask for!

So back to the wedding, Big Canoe was everything a fall-loving, romantic could ever ask for.  It made for a gorgeous backdrop to Jessica & Shane's mid-November nuptials.

I met Jessica and Shane a little over a year ago when Brandon & I shot their engagement photos at Grand Boulevard and Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin.  In that short amount of time that we got to spend with them shooting their engagements, I got a glimpse into who they are individually and together.  Shane is so easy going, polite, and obviously so in love with his bride.  I watched the way he looked and listened as she spoke about how they met and how over the moon she was about becoming engaged to the love of her life.  Jessica is kind, sweet, and gorgeous and all in an effortless way.  Jessica is the kind of girl that you love to love, because really, she is genuinely that awesome.  Together they are a sweet, fun couple that you could imagine having a great time doing something crazy and adventurous OR having an equally great time sitting out by a lake fishing and talking about what their future is going to be like.

So on a cool, Georgia fall afternoon, Ms. Johnson married Mr. Robinson and here are the beautiful pictures to prove it;)  Jess & Shane, you guys are so special.  I wish you nothing but the best and cannot wait to see all of the amazing things you guys do together.  Enjoy the flashback!

Becky + Scott

Last month I got to go up to Baltimore to shoot an engagement shoot for a really sweet, cute couple, {Becky + Scott}!  So how in the world did I end up going all the way to Baltimore for an engagement shoot you may ask??  Well it just so happens that Becky + Scott are great friends with another couple that we've shot in the past {The Houston's}!  We spent the afternoon at {Fell's Point} in downtown Baltimore talking, laughing, getting to hear about Scott's love for Bama football, and most importantly shooting some sweet moments of Becky+Scott.  Here are some of my favorites...it was hard to pick...B+S, you guys were a pleasure to work with!  You two are so sweet and are a great match for each other.  We wish you lots of happiness and joy in your upcoming marriage.

Jenn + Joel

A few weeks ago, my partner in crime;) and I got to shoot one of my favorite couples: Jenn + Joel! J+J got married on a beautiful late summer afternoon surrounded by friends, family, and parents that adore them.  It was the kind of wedding where you leave and say, what a perfect night.  Here are a few shots from their wedding:

I love the anticipation in Jenn's face here as she's waiting to go to the ceremony and you can see her dad standing behind her.  Such a sweet picture
