A few weeks ago I had the privilege of attending and documenting one of the most most beautiful weddings I've ever been to. Jessica and Shane were married in Big Canoe, GA. The drive from Florida into the mountains of North Georgia made for a very exciting and interesting (as we were lost for hours at one point) weekend. By we, I mean, she & me. Who is she?? You know, the fabulous Julie of Julie Cate Photography, one of the bestest friends a girl could ever ask for!
So back to the wedding, Big Canoe was everything a fall-loving, romantic could ever ask for. It made for a gorgeous backdrop to Jessica & Shane's mid-November nuptials.
I met Jessica and Shane a little over a year ago when Brandon & I shot their engagement photos at Grand Boulevard and Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin. In that short amount of time that we got to spend with them shooting their engagements, I got a glimpse into who they are individually and together. Shane is so easy going, polite, and obviously so in love with his bride. I watched the way he looked and listened as she spoke about how they met and how over the moon she was about becoming engaged to the love of her life. Jessica is kind, sweet, and gorgeous and all in an effortless way. Jessica is the kind of girl that you love to love, because really, she is genuinely that awesome. Together they are a sweet, fun couple that you could imagine having a great time doing something crazy and adventurous OR having an equally great time sitting out by a lake fishing and talking about what their future is going to be like.
So on a cool, Georgia fall afternoon, Ms. Johnson married Mr. Robinson and here are the beautiful pictures to prove it;) Jess & Shane, you guys are so special. I wish you nothing but the best and cannot wait to see all of the amazing things you guys do together. Enjoy the flashback!
